All Wales Skills STEM winners meet with Mr Lee Waters, AM for Llanelli

Following their success at the All Wales Skills STEM Challenge on Monday, three of the four pupils – Alysha Gregory-Woodall, Esme Jaros-Reynolds and Sophie Harris (unfortunately Rianna Evans was ill today) met with Mr Lee Waters, AM for Llanelli. The girls talked about their success at the competition and Mr Waters was interested to know whether the experience would inspire them to take up a career in STEM as he appreciates the need for more young people to develop skills in this area. He talked to them about how important it was for girls to consider careers in engineering as they have an aptitude and the ability to multi task so important in engineering. Go Girl Power!!
