Alupro film at Glan-y-Mor to show success of our pupil's work
After our success in this year's Alu Challenge; organisers Alupro came into school this week to make a film about the success of the school and our pupil's work. The film will be used to launch this year's competition and encourage others to take part. It will also be used by the Aluminium industry at conferences to promote the Alu Challenge as a great way for industry and education to work together. We were joined for the filming by ex pupil Bryony Price who worked with the pupils on the challenge back in December when she came into school for a week's work placement. Bryony has just finished an Aeronautical Engineering degree at Loughborough University and has just landed an amazing job; working for an oil company travelling the world on a research ship; first stop 6 weeks training in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. We wish Bryony all the best in her future career. Stars on the day were Katrina Davies and Shaughn Poulter who have certainly mastered the excellent interview techniques.
