Business Dragons - 22nd October 2015

Caitlin Bell and Josh Cartledge represented Glan-y-Mor School in the Semi Final round of the Young Business Dragons Competition this week. The semi final was held in the Stradey Park Hotel, and the pupils had to promote their product and business venture to a panel of judges. They had to create a business stand and deliver a sales pitch in front business mentors and 7 other schools they were competing against. Our business mentor Tessa Peregrine from Carmarthenshire County Council's Economic Development Division , who happens to be an ex pupil, mentored the pupils and provided support and guidance throughout the process over the last few weeks. Unfortunately we were unlucky this year with our product of Pink Fluff Candyfloss Shampoo but would like to thank Miss Peregrine for her input and hope we can can work with her again next year.
