Consultation: Arrangements for summer 2020 exam series

On Tuesday, 28 April 2020 we will launch our two-week consultation on the proposed aims that will underpin the award of grades this summer and the specific arrangements for appeals.

In the consultation we are seeking views on the proposed arrangements for the following qualifications:

Approved GCSE qualifications;
Approved AS qualifications;
Approved A level qualifications;
the Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate (SCC) qualifications; and
Legacy GCSE, AS and A level qualifications which are available only to learners in Wales.

The consultation will close at 17:00 on Wednesday 13 May 2020. This timeline is tight due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding this consultation and the need for arrangements to be confirmed as quickly as possible.

We would encourage you to respond to this consultation in English or Welsh using the online survey that can be found on our website from the 28^thonwards. We have also created a short (Youth Friendly) version of the survey.

Following an analysis of responses, we plan to confirm our decisions in June.
