For a number of years, the Council has needed to make some tough decisions about spending priorities.  The situation for the coming year (from April 2017) is likely to be better than expected, but will still involve a number of hard choices.  Savings of £25 million will need to be made over the next three years.

 

In making the decisions, it is very helpful for the Council to hear the views from a wide cross-section of Carmarthenshire’s people.
