Director of Education's Canvas Challenge

Congratulations to Sofie Jenkins, 9LB who is the Glan-y-Môr representative who has taken up the Director of Education’s challenge to produce an artistic canvas that seeks to portray Carmarthenshire in colour by reflecting the culture, language, history, geography of our local area and the entire county.

When Mr Stephens asked me to paint a canvas for the Director of Education, I was very proud and excited to do it. When I designed what I was painting, I tried to make the painting different. I really enjoyed painting and designing the canvas, however towards the end it started to get a bit hard because I started running out of time. I am very glad that I was asked to represent the school for this challenge.
