Fashion & Textiles Workshop - 11th March 2015

Seventeen Year 9 pupils enjoyed Fashion and Textiles workshops at the Coleg Sir Gâr, Jobswell Campus, Carmarthen this week.  As part of a 14-19 enhancement programme, pupils took part in a millinery workshop with Kate McKenny who runs a very successful online millinery business from her home in Carmarthen and a weaving workshop run by the Textile department of the college.  Glan-y-Môr has very strong links with the Fashion and Textiles departments at the college and a number of our pupils have gone on to study further and higher education courses at the college.
