Glan-y-Mor Value and Support Young Carers

Glan-y-Môr values and supports young carers.  We appreciate that they face more challenges than most other pupils, but we believe this should not make a difference to their progress.  We liaise with primary schools so we are aware of children with caring responsibilities before they even come to Glan-y-Môr.   If they become young carers after starting school, support is immediately put in place for them.  We provide information on notice boards and in person, and there is always someone they can talk to.
