Glan-y-Mor hosts Crucial Crew event

This week Glan-y-Môr and Bryngwyn hosted a Crucial Crew event for Year 7 pupils. It was a PSE themed day inviting in various external agencies. A warm welcome was extended to the Food Standard Agency, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue, Samaritans, Western Power, RNLI, Hafan Cymru, Safer School Transport and Network Rail. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and gained vital information regarding their personal safety and skills they could use in the community now and later on in life. Glan-y-Môr and Bryngwyn would like to extend a very big thank you to Paul Morgan for liaising with the school in organising such a successful event, and also to the visiting agencies who spoke so passionately about their individual fields of expertise.
