Information regarding Free School Meals

You will be aware that Welsh Government have instructed pupils to stay at home for on-line learning until Monday 18th January 2021.

Pupils eligible for Free School Meals will again receive payments for those 2 weeks after the Christmas holidays (Monday 04/01/21 to Friday 15/01/21). Staff will prioritize these payments, but processing will take time. We hope to have funds released during next week (Monday 11/01/21 onwards) but please be patient and don’t contact us to enquire when you can expect payment as this will take up staff resources to respond to your enquiry, when they could be processing your payment.

We are continuing to process Free School Meal payments to eligible families for the various circumstances previously notified, and we are resolving outstanding queries as quickly as possible. Payments for those pupils instructed to self-isolate during last term will start imminently but will not take priority over the payments to all pupils as per the latest announcement.

Please be assured that staff are working as quickly as possible whilst following the regulations in place to release all payments to all eligible families and wish to thank you for your patience and understanding.
