Just B Smoke Free Ambassadors

A group of Year 8 pupils were selected by their peers to become Just B Smoke Free Ambassadors. The fifteen pupils attending a 2 day intensive training course provided by Public Health Wales. The Ambassadors were then encouraged to have conversations with their peers regarding the benefits of remaining smoke free and also educating with facts so they could make informed decisions. The Ambassadors kept a diary of all their conversations and took part in 2 follow up support sessions to refresh their knowledge and support them through any awkward conversations. The pupils recently gained their certificates as a testament to their participation. The pupils will now disseminate the information they have gained by delivering a powerpoint presentation to younger pupils in their assemblies and PSE lessons. Well done all and a big thank you to Public Health Wales for their support once again.
