Lego Mindstorms Competition WINNERS

Winning this competition was the second success for Glan-y-Môr's transition STEM team. The competition required a report detailing our involvement with the Lego First Challenge and how this opportunity helped develop our pupil's understanding of robotics and computer programming skills. The Prize of over a £1000's worth of Lego Mindstorm equipment has already been put to good use by helping one of our Teen Tech teams in their development of a guidance system for wheelchairs. The extra equipment will also mean that more pupils will be able to take part in this year's Lego First Challenge which happens during the Autumn term.
