Morganstone World of Work Day
A select group of pupils attended the World of Work day with Morganstone at Parc y Scarlets on Wednesday 4th November.
The company believes the importance of local workforce and wishes to engage with the local community. Over the next 5 years, the company will expand which will lead to key employment opportunities for local people. The company are looking to provide work placements, work experience and much more in terms of career opportunities.
On the day pupils gained an insight to the various career opportunities within the construction sector, including building, engineering, design, architecture, surveying, plant and machinery, accountancy, administration, etc.
Morganstone staff delivered presentations to highlight the diverse career options available within the construction industry, along with various interactive workshops / challenges associated to the sector.
At the end of the session the pupils were given the opportunity to apply for further experience and/or career opportunities with the company.
