Pupils take part in FIRST LEGO League Event at Bridgend

Thanks to our Year 7 mentors from Glan-y-Mor and Bryngwyn who have been a great support to the Year 4 young engineers from our feeder schools taking part in the FIRST LEGO League event at Bridgend.

It has been a great day for these young engineers from  Ysgol y Castell, Burry Port, Pembrey, Pwll, Bryn, Swiss Valley, Dafen, Ysgol Bryn Teg, Ysgol yr Hendy, Penygaer , Ysgol y Felin, and Old Road primary schools - winners all round! 

Brill effort from Lego Technicians from Ysgol y Hendy, Pembrey and Pwll Primary Schools who won the Outstanding Team Award.

Well done Dwr Tim from Ysgol Bryn Teg,  Dafen and  Bryn Primary Schools who won the Inquiring Minds.

Congratulations to Awesome Aquas from Ysgol y Felin, Penygaer and Swiss Valley primary schools who won the Journey Award.

Thanks to Tom from STEM Cymru for helping us with our junior project, working across 12 primary feeder schools for Glan-y-Mor and Bryngwyn School #STEMtastic.
