Pupils take part in Phoenix Fire Course

Last week eight of our students had the opportunity to take part in the Phoenix Fire Course at Llanelli Fire Station with Mid & West Wales Fire Brigade.

They were Leo Coleman, Kaidune Gottshall, Robert Rees, Cameron Lee Evans, Luke Thomas, Dominic McKimmie, Harry Conick and Josh Raven.
 
The course aims to teach the risks associated with fire, education around anti social behaviour and of course things such as ladder and hose drills, search and rescue techniques, squad drills, casualty handling with some team building exercises.
