School Council Representatives visit Houses of Parliament

Newly elected School Council representatives from both Glan-y-Môr and Bryngwyn travelled to London on Friday 25^th September for a tour of the Houses of Parliament. Whilst there pupils also had a Q&A session with Baroness Penn and took part in educational activities including creating a petition. All pupils fully engaged in political discussions, asking probing questions and challenging the concept of the devolution. Pupils also had the opportunity to visit Selfridges on Oxford Street for some recreational time.  Pupils were exceptionally behaved all day and demonstrated resilience when trains were delayed, arriving back in to Burry Port at 11.30pm after an early start of 7.00am! All pupils were a credit to their school and families.
