Summer Festival - Thursday 30th June

This year's Summer Festival was a huge success with over £500 being raised between the RNLI and the Glan-y-Môr school fund.  There was a host of activities for everyone to do including classic fund raising games, crepe tasting and frisbee target practice.  Displays from the RNLI and the Fire Brigade along with stalls from local businesses made it a truly community event.  Pupils from across the Glan-y-Môr family performed with choirs from Ysgol y Castell, Burry Port Juniors and students from Coleg Sir Gâr all taking to the main stage.  Musicians from Glan-y-Môr School performed many pieces from stage and screen and there were two outstanding performances from KS4 Drama students.  A great afternoon was had by all and it's going to be bigger and better next year!
