Talk The Talk help Year 10 pupils develop their English skills

On Tuesday 6th June, Talk the Talk worked with all Year 10 pupils to develop presentation skills.  A day of fun activities and challenges helped pupils work on vocal, verbal and visual aspects of presenting to an audience and culminated in all pupils delivering a 2 minute unscripted presentation.

Pupils threw themselves into all the tasks with enthusiasm and all agreed that their confidence has improved hugely.  Pupils also felt that that they were far more positive about the forthcoming GCSE English presentation assessment.

All pupils achieved the final Talk the Talk certification and have Talk the Talk workbooks that we would love parents and guardians to look at and talk about with their children.  This will help them remember the top tips for presentations that they can use when preparing for their GCSE presentations.
