Year 10 Day at Coleg Sir Gar

Dear Parent/Carer, 

We are pleased to inform you that all Year 10 pupils will be attending a Transitional Morning at Coleg Sir Gâr on Wednesday, 22nd October. 

This exciting opportunity will allow pupils to: 

• Visit the college campus and explore its facilities 

• Participate in a range of “Have a Go” sessions designed to inspire and engage 

• Learn more about post-16 education options and potential pathways for future study 

The visit is part of our ongoing commitment to support pupils in making informed decisions about their educational journey beyond Year 11. We believe this experience will be valuable in helping them consider their interests, strengths, and aspirations as they begin to plan for the future.  

Attendance at this event is essential, as it forms a key part of our careers and transition programme. We strongly encourage all pupils to take full advantage of this opportunity. 

Pupils should attend school as normal and transport to college will be provided. Pupils are expected to attend in full school uniform and will be accompanied by Glan y Mor staff throughout the duration of the visit returning to Glan Y Mor in time for lunch.
