Year 6 & 7 pupils learn about The Size of Wales Project

One of the highlights of our Green Day for Year 6 and 7 pupils was a presentation by Nigel Little, of The Size of Wales project. His fascinating talk made us aware that rain forests are in danger from developers who destroy habitats and threatening unique cultures.  We can all help conserve their precious resources in very simple ways, for example choosing products that don't include palm oil.  This is a global problem, being tackled by a unique Welsh charity.  What is the story behind the charity's name?  Simple, the charity aims to save an area of rainforest the size of Wales.
