Year 7 pupil overall winner of Sumdog Competition for Carmarthenshire Schools
The Mathematics Department is delighted to announce that Charlotte Lewis-Camm of Year 7 was the overall winner of the recent Sumdog Competition for Carmarthenshire Schools. 748 pupils competed over the week long contest, making Charlotte's success particularly special. Her Maths teacher and Sumdog Coordinator at the school, Mr Richard Allen, was thrilled with Charlotte's achievement and also wanted to congratulate Charlotte Town and Freya Scully who came 3rd and 8th respectively. 8 Set 1 got the furthest as a class in the whole competition, reaching 15th in the league table of 59 qualifying classes. We are extremely proud of all the pupils who engaged in the contest and look forward to the next chance to compete!
