Year 7 pupils visit donkey rescue centre
During half term Jo Rogers our Youth Worker took 2 Year 7 pupils, Kalen Buzza and Justin Toet to visit a donkey rescue in the hills near Llansawel. The rescue is a working farm and homes 6 donkeys that have been rescued and are now used for animal therapy sessions. This ranges from visiting the elderly, to groups with behavioural issues, visiting the seriously ill at hospital and to school groups etc.
The boys got involved in mucking out the barn, put feed out and socialised (as you do)with the donkeys. Great fun!
