Year 9 pupils host a consultation event with Electoral Reform Society Cymru

Year 9 pupils from Glan-y-Môr and Bryngwyn hosted a consultation event today with Mat Mathias of the Electoral Reform Society Cymru. The aim of the consultation event was to raise the profile of political education in schools and aim to create a new curriculum that gives every child between the ages of 11-16 a solid understanding of how politics affects their daily lives and how to influence it. The BBC filmed the event and it will be broadcast this Sunday on The Politics Show.
