Year 9 team take part in Tasty Careers Competition Final

On Thursday 5th February our Year 9 team represented Glan-y-Mor School in the Carmarthenshire final of the Tasty Careers Competition in Parc y Scarlets! Many thanks to our Business Class Partners WRW for supporting the pupils and guiding them through the process.

Mr Gareth Morgans, Director of Education said "I was greatly impressed by the maturity of the young people, their innovation, their communication skills and their creativity. Their products were interesting, tasty and the work demonstrated strong cross-curricular skills. All were winners as they pleased the judging panel and represented their schools effectively. We saw innovative new ideas such as Diod Dwynwen, Dafalau Melys, Cawl Cebabs, Quick Cawl, Perfect Pasta Pot and Cawl i Fynd showed successful cross-curriculum work".
